At the College of the Rockies, our Quantitative Geography course is designed to equip students with the expertise to collect, analyze, and interpret geographic data effectively. Through this course, students delve into various methods of data collection, analysis, and reporting. They explore sampling techniques, data description, theoretical distributions, significance testing, and spatial relationships.
We are seeking passionate business owners eager to engage with students and foster an environment of collaborative learning. An ideal project will have a clear problem statement related to geography or spatial data analysis. Projects can range from research-focused initiatives to practical tasks. We highly value employers open to discussing and adjusting project scopes to maximize the collaboration's impact.
