Détails

The main goal of the project is to create three unique 3D-printed engineering-related gifts that can be sent to newly licensed engineers. The gifts should be flat and lightweight enough to ship inside a standard envelope (up to 50 g) and may require some assembly on the recipient's end. They should also be something newly licensed engineers would appreciate and find useful.

Livrables

- Research and brainstorm 3 unique engineering-related gift ideas that can be 3D printed and shipped within the weight and size constraints.

- Design the 3D models in any file format for the chosen gift ideas, ensuring they are flat and lightweight.

- 3D print the prototypes and make any necessary adjustments to the designs.

- Document the assembly instructions for each prototype in a short booklet PDF.

Deliverables:

  1. Three 3D printed prototypes
  2. Presentation on why these items will resonate with engineers
  3. Assembly instructions for each prototype
