The organization's bylaws, policies and procedures need comprehensive review and significant revision in order to allow further projects to develop staff and volunteer training to be undertaken. reworking before other projects can be undertaken. Documents from several departments must be gathered and compared to ensure consistency in policies.

A first draft of this policy document has been created.

The policies under review need to work for an not-for-profit arts organization that focuses on producing one major event per year (medium sized music festival with multiple stages, food vendors, art and craft vendors and media) along with a few smaller events on an ad-hoc basis. With a focus on volunteer engagement, the organization has only one regular employee only bringing in additional staff for part of the year.

Policies will need to include:

• Violence
• Harassment
• Health & Safety
• Weather & Emergency
• Cancellation
• Refunds
• Social Media
• Use of Personal Vehicles for Society Business
• Confidential Information

This project needs to be completed in sufficient time to be able to enact the policies in training of several hundred volunteers in advance of this year's festival in August. Ideally before the end of May.
